It is recommended that you download the Damage Indicators mod and Not Enough Items mods to make playing this mod easier, since most entities in this mod have health values many times greater than vanilla mobs and there are many new crafting recipes.
For all players, it is highly recommended that you check out the Quick Start Guide, because the mod can seem overwhelming at first.
Also check out the Survival Guide for tips on how to handle challenges in the mod, such as its bosses and structures.
